What a beautiful hand painting of Poookie’s Hamlet who has crossed the Bridge. Artist Manuela Poookie Quick hand painted this beautiful picture of her Hamlet and sealed it to last. This is how she pictures her Hami where he is now….happy and healthy again and smiling. How wonderful to be able to have them in your memory in such a beautiful place. Poookie has so graciously permitted donating her painting to the SPR auction to help other Bichons in need.
Special Instructions
Various blues and greens are the major colors in the painting with her precious Hamlet. Then add a few colored flowers and the white puffy clouds in the sky. The painting is in new condition and has been displayed in my curio cabinet. I believe it would be a perfect gift for any Bichon lover. Poookie has signed her artwork. It measures 8 3/4” high X 10 3/4” wide X 1/2” deep. Painting has a glass covering in the frame. Comes from a smoke free home.

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of Cheri Sisco’s “Humphrey”, I thought it was truly the epitome of what we do, and why we do it. I wanted to use this black and white picture of Humphrey, taken only days before his death due to congestive heart failure, to let those who may be new to Small Paws, know what we do and why we do it. Without Small Paws, Humphrey would have never known love. He would have died in a kill shelter, sick and alone. Because of Small Paws, and Cheri Sisco, he lived, he loved, and he smiled.
