Monday Morning, December 01, 2025
Dear Small Pawsers,
Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 02, 2025, is Giving Tuesday!
What is Giving Tuesday?
“Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Join the movement and give, whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in your local community.
It’s a simple idea: whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to contribute toward building the better world we all want to live in.”
I’m not sure why this happens, but every December, all across the country, we have an influx of Owner surrenders. And it’s already started.
This year, starting TODAY, we have a Matching Challenge like we’ve never had before, all for the rescued Bichons!
What is a Matching Donation Challenge?
This year, we have an anonymous Matching Donation Challenge for $5000.00!
All donations up to $5000.00 will be matched for the Bichons!
And yes, your donation is tax deductible.
But Giving Tuesday is also about volunteering!
We really need more volunteer transporter and foster homes EVERYWHERE, but especially anywhere in Texas, around Austin, Texas, or near Dallas, Texas.
And, and help is needed anywhere withing driving distance of Chicago.
You can help be the bridge between a homeless, sick or injured Bichon, and a beloved family member!
We need you!
Volunteer for Small Paws® Rescue!
Small Paws® pays all vet bills for their Foster dogs, AND, Foster Parents also receive first dibs on adopting their Foster dog, at a reduced adoption fee!
It’s a win win situation for everyone and for the rescued Bichons!
Won’t you join us in this magnificent obsession we have called Small Paws® Rescue, since 1998?
We love you and are so grateful for all that you do for these Bichons!
All My Love, Robin Pressnall
