This is little Lucy.
What is a PDA Heart Murmur?
A Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) heart murmur in puppies is a birth defect where a normal fetal blood vessel connecting the two main heart arteries fails to close after birth. This open vessel causes abnormal blood flow, forcing the puppy’s heart to work too hard and potentially leading to heart failure if left untreated.
We have successfully repaired over 100 PDA Heart Murmurs in Puppies over the last 28 years.
We repair them at MedVet in Worthington, Ohio with our great Cardiologist, Dr. Thaibinh Nguyenba. (Pronounced Ty-Bin Win-Baw)
This is a little about him, and what he does for our babies!
Thaibinh is dear friend of mine and of Small Paws®, and has been so for many years.
I trust him completely.
So, Sadie is scheduled for next Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Lucy is scheduled for September 9, 2026.
Each of these two procedures will run between $6,500.00-$8,000.000 EACH.
We have a Matching Donation Challenge for $1000.00 from my Sister Friend, Barbe Von Netzer, in Oklahoma City! Thank you so much Barbe!

Subject: Matching donation
Hi Rob,
I would like to issue a matching donation of $1000 towards these heart murmur babies, Lucy and Sadie. My Chloe was a heart murmur baby and is the sweetest most loving healthy 7 year old …. Because of Small Paws. Love, Barbe
I know it’s a lot. But without this amazing procedure, they would both die an agonizing death. They are just babies and I think you all would want us to get their little busted hearts fixed!
I’m here and will issue any Matching Challenges for The Heart Murmur Babies!
All My Love, Robin
