Dear Small Pawsers,

Cassie is doing wonderfully. She does NOT have Cushing’s Disease! We did all of the testing and removed a huge lipoma and repaired an umbilical hernia.

Cassie’s Foster Mom has had a family emergency so we will be moving Cassie to a foster home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Cassie is ready for adoption!

I don’t know what is happening in The Lonestar State, but they are FALLING FROM THE SKIES DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS.

One of our current dogs in need of Foster Care is Hobbs. Hobb’s owner died. Hobbs is fully vetted and groomed.

He is currently being fostered in League City, Texas.

League City is a waterfront city in Galveston County, Texas, situated within the Greater Houston metropolitan area. Located along the1-45 corridor between Houston and Galveston, it is known as a suburban community on the south shore of Clear Lake and near Galveston Bay.

His Foster Mom is also having a Family emergency and needs to move Hobbs.

Hobbs is a five year old Male.

We are in desperate need of a Foster home in either North or South Texas for Hobbs. (Hobbs doesn’t like kitties but he loves people and other dogs.)

Next, we have 2 year old Stella.

Stella was an owner surrender to the Austin shelter. They moved to a new apartment and they weren’t allowed to keep her.

Stella is housetrained and was in the shelter only one night, but the shelter workers said that shelter life was not for her.

We believe she is either a full or mostly full Bichon Havanese, just like my new baby Oliver Pressnall.

The Havanese (or Bichon Havanese) is a small, sturdy, and affectionate toy dog breed originating from Cuba, known for its long, silky coat, curled tail, and friendly, intelligent personality. Typically weighing 7–13 pounds and standing 8.5–11.5 inches tall, they are ideal family companions, apartment-friendly, and often considered hypoallergenic due to their low-shedding hair. Purina UK

Key Characteristics and Traits:

• Temperament: They are highly affectionate, playful, and intelligent dogs often called “velcro dogs” because they love being close to their owners, as noted by Houndsy. They are not usually aggressive and get along well with children and other pets, says The Spruce Pets.

Welllll, today Stella was being spayed at Westlake Animal Hospital in Austin Texas, and the vet called me while she was still under anethsesia.

Lucy, you better ‘splain.

It appears that Stella got her groove on and is now expecting puppies.

So now, we need someone to Maternity Foster Stella and her babies.

We aren’t sure that she is pregnant, but that’s how it’s looking.

No, we don’t know who the Daddy is.

Stella is too upset to talk about it.

Foster Home for Unwed Mother Needed!!!

And we have an Owner Surrender that just came in an hour ago for a 10 month Cavachon. He is housetrained and has been to “Board and Train” for basic obedience.

The owners said they should have never gotten a puppy. He’s all puppy and more than they can handle.

We can NOT take “Toby” in until we find foster homes for Hobbs and Stella, dogs we already currently have.

Toby is in Round Rock, Texas, near Austin.

No, he’s not up for adoption. We don’t have him yet!

The reason this is SO URGENT IS THIS. If even ONE more dog comes into a kill shelter in Texas, we don’t have any place to put them.

Yes, we have several people listed as volunteers in Texas.

The problem is that some are getting ready to have surgeries, some are caring for aged parents, some are traveling out of country, some already have two of our fosters, some are also fostering for other rescues and already have a foster, and some say it’s just not the right time for them.

Guys, I need help. I need you.
