Dear Small Pawsers,

We have a new update on our little “Bella” from Ft. Worth, Texas, this morning!

From Louise Steinke, Bella’s New Foster Mom Extraordinaire! Thank you Louise! You are taking great care of our Bella!

“She is doing ok!

Been a challenge yo get her to eat

But she picks at my dogs food ..which is great .. she is into scrambled eggs and baked chicken .. she loves my chair .. she has been sleeping with us also !

I wish I knew if she was a happy dog sometimes she acts like it and other times she just stands and watches !

She loves to be held and talked to!

This year, it’s going to be on Ebay’s Charity Site for Small Paws® Rescue!

” In lieu of our normal Holiday Auction, we decided to try something new and do a 10 day Ebay Charity Auction. 

Starting 11/10 @ 8am EST we will have items up for sale. 100% of the proceeds go to SPR and we are also offering free shipping! We are only listing a few items to see how this goes. If all goes well will be having more Ebay auctions in the near future!

I have 15 items listed. Shipping is free. 

I wish we could have had people to send me items to list.”

I will send out a Newsletter on November 10, 2024, Sunday morning, at 8:00 A.M. Eastern Time, reminding you that the Ebay Auction is about to start and will run for 10 days!

That’s when you can see the items for auction!

There are several reasons that we aren’t doing the Holiday Auction the way we have in the past.

The Auction company we were using was taking right at 50% of what we were raising.

After much consideration, our Board of Trustees didn’t feel that was a good use of our member’s time, Jody’s time, and the use of our funds.

We were also getting complaints each year about the absence of user-friendliness of the old site.

I know it was hard for many of you.

Then, Jody found the Ebay Charity Auctions for us.

We applied and were accepted into their Charity program.

So get your items ready! Photograph them and describe them and get those to Jody!
