Gem of the Day: Sunday morning our Pastor prayed this from the pulpit. “Lord, please send legions of Your Angels to turn this man’s heart.” We have volunteers and adopters from Ukraine. I spoke with one of them yesterday and we both cried. When I see the refugees with their dogs and cats, I’m so thankful they didn’t leave them behind, when they can barely take care of themselves. Our love and prayers are with the people of Ukraine during this time of war and devastation.

Dear Small Pawsers,
Bliss is 10. She has benign mammary tumors.
Dr. Paul Blasso phoned me after getting the results of the biospies. Cytology said it’s most likely benign but there are a few cells that look possibly malignant so he is going to do a double mastectomy. He’s going to have to do it in two surgeries. He’ll do one side and then the other giving Bliss time to heal in between.
I received a call from one of our Charter Member Small Pawsers, Joan Borders, yesterday, asking about our needs, so I told her about Bliss.
She and her husband Pat at jpborders@aol.com want to issue a matching challenge donation for $1000.00.
