Merry Christmas To You From Small Paws® Rescue!!! A Gift of Song From Robin.

“Mary Did You Know” Written by Mark Lowry

(I recorded this with my phone in our living room tonight. It was sung with love. Merry Christmas!)

Dearest Small Pawsers,

Merry Christmas! Grab a cup of coffee and join me!

Our Board of Trustees and I want to take a moment to thank all of you for all that you do for Small Paws and for these dogs, all throughout the year!

From Fostering, to shelter pick ups, to transports, to donations, to Team Leading, to praying, for everything, we thank you all so very much!

Through ups and downs in these crazy times, some things remains constant.

God’s love for us, our love for each other and our love for our dogs.

I’m praying for you, for your health and safety, and for the health and safety of your dogs, this Christmas.

Aren’t you glad that God made dogs?! What a gift they are to us!

I believe that Christmas is all about giving because over 2000 years ago, the Greatest Gift ever, was sent down to us.

Hear the Story being read for you.

If any of you are feeling alone this season, please know that you aren’t alone.

God loves you more than anyone else ever has and more than anyone else ever will!

And we love you! You are appreciated!

23 1/2 years ago, this magnificent obsession was born and none of us could have predicted what would follow.

The friendships that would be made. The teamwork!

All of us coming together, from all walks of life with one common goal.

To save these beautiful Bichons and dogs who look as if they’ve once met a Bichon. Over 17,000 of them and counting!

We have become a family.

A family is something I also wanted, as an only child with no children, and look what God gave me! He gave me YOU! A wonderful, loving family.

And I’m so grateful for each of you!

So, from all of us, to all of you, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a peaceful, relaxing Holiday Season!

I Love You All, Robin

And…Our Board of Trustees

How to Become a Much Needed Small Paws Rescue Foster Parent!

Humphrey Sisco

Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006 Pet Loss Link

When I first saw this beautiful picture of Cheri Sisco’s “Humphrey”, I thought it was truly the epitome of what we do, and why we do it. I wanted to use this black and white picture of Humphrey, taken only days before his death due to congestive heart failure, to let those who may be new to Small Paws, know what we do and why we do it. Without Small Paws, Humphrey would have never known love. He would have died in a kill shelter, sick and alone. Because of Small Paws, and Cheri Sisco, he lived, he loved, and he smiled.
