Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah From The Pressnalls to You!/Update And Pics of Our Little Elf! Thank You All For Saving His Life!

Tuesday Morning, Christmas Eve, December 24, 2019

“Romance Pressnall” and his Mom, Robin, Executive Director of Small Paws Rescue. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to you all! Christmas 2019.

Gem Of The Day: My brothers and sisters, true love is a reflection of the Savior’s love. In December of each year we call it the Christmas spirit. You can hear it. You can see it. You can feel it.

~Thomas S. Monson~

As you know, little Elf had his surgery. He is doing so well!

(He’s in witness protection or I would share his location.)

Thanks to all of you, we have covered his surgery and are waiting for physical rehab.

Thank you ALL so very much for helping this poor little dog who was thrown from a car.

Police have a strong lead from a family member. Pray it pans out.

Now for the moment everyone has waited for. The newest pictures of Elf!

Elf eating in foster care.

Elf needs to be contained most of the time so that he can heal. He tries to run around!

Elf’s surgeon was unbelievable. (If I ever need orthopedic surgery, I’ll glue on some cotton balls and hop right up on his table. )

Elf had hip and pelvic injuries on BOTH sides. He is one little trooper!

“Thank you for saving my life. I will love you forever. I’m a Christmas Miracle. They do still happen, you know! Happy Christmas to all!” Luv, Elf.

Merry Christmas from the Pressnall Family, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sally Anne, Reagan, Romance, Pipper, our canary, Allegro, and Dale and Robin Pressnall, to you and your’s! We love you all! This is our family.

Sally Anne Pressnall,  Our 16 1/2 year old pure bred OGK. (Only God Knows) She still runs with Dale!

Our three “stair-step” sons, Romance, Pipper, and Reagan Presssnall. They all have “SRB” syndrome and it’s incurable. I bet your’s have it too. (Spoiled Rotten Bichon Syndrome)

A joy to behold and to hear, my precious fife canary, Allegro Pressnall. He had just waked up here, and did NOT want his picture taken. (He has quite a little personality.)

And the love of my life, on our 34th wedding anniversary. Without Dale, there would be no Small Paws. From in the very beginning, to today, his value to our magnificent obsession is immeasurable.

Have a wonderful Christmas with your friends, family, AND your Bichons! All My Love, Robin

Humphrey Sisco

Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006 Pet Loss Link

When I first saw this beautiful picture of Cheri Sisco’s “Humphrey”, I thought it was truly the epitome of what we do, and why we do it. I wanted to use this black and white picture of Humphrey, taken only days before his death due to congestive heart failure, to let those who may be new to Small Paws, know what we do and why we do it. Without Small Paws, Humphrey would have never known love. He would have died in a kill shelter, sick and alone. Because of Small Paws, and Cheri Sisco, he lived, he loved, and he smiled.
