Since discovering puppy mills in the summer of 1998, Robin has dedicated her life to educating the public of the horrors of puppy mills, and to the removal of thousands of dogs from the commercial kennels of Missouri.

Bonnie serves as our Executive Assistant and as our Director of Adoptions. Bonnie was a professional in the publishing and editing world for many years before devoting her life full time to rescuing Bichons, back in 1998. Bonnie has personally fostered hundreds of Bichons and has bottle fed newborn Bichon babies who were rejected by their mothers.

Dr. Cindy Leigh holds the title of Professor Emeritus of Curriculum and Instruction with an emphases in Language Arts, Gifted Education, and Early Childhood Education.Cindy was a founding member of the Oxford/Lafayette Humane Society in the early seventies. She is currently serving as the Secretary of the Oxford/Lafayette Humane Society. Cindy participated in numerous rescue runs after Hurricane Katrina, driving cross country to deliver homeless animals that had been left alone in New Orleans.

Donna is a Poly Chemist with Exxon. She has many years of experience working with the LSU vet school and the local humane society. Donna was very involved in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, bathing and grooming homeless dogs as they were brought into LSU for triage.

Dale helped to get SPR started back in 1998. He was instrumental in getting us up and running on the Internet, setting up our online Gift Shoppe, and our Online Shopping Cart.

He has also driven hundreds of miles to rescue dogs from puppy mills, including giving up one Thanksgiving weekend to rush a heart murmur puppy down to Texas A&M University, 9 hours away.

He is still involved with website and communication issues for our organization.

Brant is retired from GM where he dealt with Project Management Issues traveling from division to division  dealing with issues and problems concerning project timing and recourse management.  He's been with Small Paws for over 8 years.  He's been a Team Leader as well as someone who has personally traveled to commercial kennels to remove dogs from neglect and abuse, risking on more than one occasion, his own safety. Brant is dedicated to these Bichons and he and his wife Edie have fostered more Bichons and Bichon Mixes than we can even count!
